Meet The Face Behind 800 Kamerman
I’m Trent Kamerman, the proud owner of 800 Kamerman.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
During my senior year of high school, I had to do an internship in an industry of my choice. I picked TV News and fell in love with visual storytelling. So, as soon as I completed my education, I got into TV production in 1983.
After learning the ropes, I started my own video production house, and by the early ’90s, I moved from New Mexico to California, where my career began to take off. I got to experience working with high profile brands, which gave me the confidence to take on clients from across the globe. Thirty years later, I’m still going strong.
Over the past three decades, I have noticed that technology has advanced rapidly, and I pride myself on staying ahead of the curve. While camera equipment gets upgraded regularly, the one thing that has remained constant is storytelling.
I get a thrill out of telling people’s stories and sharing them with the world. Whether it’s narrating a clients’ journey or a product they have invented to make the world a better place, I work hard to help translate their concept into a video message that makes them proud.
I respect everyone, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is that I treat clients the way I would like others to treat me. I don’t tolerate ruthlessness, and arrogant behavior doesn’t belong in my studio.
I also understand that for many people doing production for the first time can be scary, so I take the time to listen to clients and build rapport. I want to help them come out of their shell, and I promote open, sincere, and honest communication, which makes them trust me.
When I say I will do something, I get it done, which is an attitude that has built up my integrity. I’m also satisfied with nothing less than perfection, and I continually raise the bar for everyone as it’s fun to discover just how much we can achieve together.
Our most significant achievement was scooping ESPN’s first-ever Dupont Award, which is the broadcast television equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize. We have also received twenty National Emmy awards, which has given me immense satisfaction.
It’s rewarding doing what I’m passionate about each day, and I cannot wait to get to work. However, when I’m not making captivating videos, I love spending quality time with my family, as my family is my life.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
